Payard is a New York dessert café that serves various confectionery and baked goods such as pastries and chocolates. Currently, the brand operates in New York and Las Vegas in America, Tokyo and Yokohama in Japan, Sao Paulo in Brazil, and in Korea after Shinsegae Food signed a licensing contract in 2008. There are three outlets in Korea: the original store in Trinity Garden of the Shinsegae Department Store main building in Seoul; a second store in Luxury Hall of the Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam branch in Seoul; and a third store in Luxury Hall of the Shinsegae Department Store Centum City in Busan.

Payard has been named the most delicious dessert cafe in New York by the US restaurant review guide Zagat Survey. It is also a signature New York brand, having been introduced in the country's popular TV drama series Sex and the City with the quote 'This place has the best desserts in New York'.
